Service Definition: A series of activities or processes performed by federal entities or other entities acting on their behalf to meet the needs of their customers.
Service Type:
- Government-to-Government (G2G): Services provided by a government center to government entities.
- Government-to-Business (G2B): Services provided by a government center to the business sector.
- Government-to-Individual (G2I): Services provided by a government center to individuals.
Service Classification:
- Informational Services: Services related to transferring information from the government center to the beneficiary, either initiated by the center (such as campaigns) or in response to customer requests (such as inquiries).
- Procedural Services: Services that meet customers’ transaction needs, such as residency applications.
- Commercial Services: Services provided to generate revenue for the government, such as selling national statistics, etc.
- Social Services: Services provided by the government that enhance the welfare of society (or a specific group within it), such as primary healthcare services.
- Regulatory Services: This category includes all services that customers must comply with, such as organized inspection operations.
Service Structure:
- Main Service: The umbrella that encompasses subsidiary and complementary services; example: Residency issuance.
- Subsidiary Service: Services that follow the main service according to the type of customer or purpose of the service; example: Investor residency issuance.
- Complementary Service: Services that follow the main service, such as renewal, cancellation, modification, replacement, and transfer; example: Cancellation of investor residency.
Package: The process of grouping interconnected services according to the customer’s perspective, not necessarily according to the organizational structure, in order to facilitate access to them.
